have also alerted DPE of reports that there is no signage around the LES about the exhibition so people in the area will not be alerted to the proposal.

issue raised with REDWatch by heritage rail people since our initial email, is that the LES and the line on the southern side of it are the last of the active rail links into South Eveleigh and they are saying that an active rail link should be retained in
the plan so that heritage locos and trains, such as 3801 can come into the site for heritage festivals and trips. Unlike the rest of the site that ceased active rail decades ago the LES has only recently stopped being used for heritage rail purposes and still
contains heritage assets waiting for storage at Chullora to become available.<o:p class="ContentPasted0"> </o:p></span></p>

a community meeting on Sunday held by Friends of Erskineville there was a strong push also for a bridge connecting this site to Carriageworks, especially given that TAHE / TfNSW
