<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt"><span style="mso-fareast-language:EN-AU">The Department of Planning and Environment (DPE) has placed on exhibition a proposal to rezone the Explorer Street South Eveleigh public housing so that the existing public
housing units can be replaced by up to 400units of which 30% will be social housing and 20% affordable housing.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt"><b><span style="mso-fareast-language:EN-AU">REDWatch, along with neighbouring resident action groups - Alexandria Residents Action Group (ARAG) and Friends of Erskineville (FOE), will jointly hold a community
meeting to understand the proposal, listen to community concerns, and help those needing support to write a submission.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt"><span style="mso-fareast-language:EN-AU">DPE have been asked to present an overview of the proposal and to be available to answer questions.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt"><span style="mso-fareast-language:EN-AU">The meeting will be at
<b>7pm on this Wednesday 8<sup>th</sup> November at Alexandria Town Hall 73 Garden Street Alexandria</b>.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
