This has snuck up on us over the Christmas break:

Redfern
Accessibility upgrade – public display of Review of Environmental Factors

Transport for NSW is providing Redfern Station with:
• a new lift to platforms 6 and 7
• new lighting and fencing around the lift area
• improved access from Lawson Street

A Review of Environmental Factors (REF) has been prepared to provide the
community with an overview of the project, its potential impacts and how
these will be managed. The REF is on public exhibition to *Thursday 22
January 2015*.

The REF and associated environmental assessments are available below:

All feedback must be received by *5pm Thursday 22 January 2015*.
Next steps

Feedback received during the public display period will assist Transport
for NSW in preparing plans for managing impacts during construction and
operation. Following a review of feedback received Transport for NSW will
make a determination regarding planning approval for the project.

Subject to planning approval, construction is expected to commence in 2015
and would take about two years to complete.
