Dear Geoff

 

Further to our chat on Saturday I wanted to provide some more information
about our upcoming community workshop that will focus on plans for North
Eveleigh.  At the workshop, we'll discuss how plans for this neighbourhood
can respond to the vision and key moves that we've adopted after consulting
widely on them earlier in the year.  

 

We are progressing the planning for North Eveleigh as a demonstration
precinct, partly in response to community requests to understand how the
vision and key moves will translate as development on the ground. As such
we're planning for North Eveleigh in parallel with ongoing work to prepare
the urban transformation strategy.  We expect both will be placed on public
display next year.  

 

The workshop will be supported by an online forum that will run until 20

We are distributing an update this week to letter boxes across the study
area (see attached) and will also be running adverts in local papers this
week and sending out an e-news update to promote the workshop and the online
forum. 

 

As an active community group with a demonstrated interest in the
transformation process, I encourage your members to get involved and ask for
your assistance to promote these consultation opportunities via your
networks.
